Mojo Monday Challenge #230
This is my entry for this weeks Mojo Monday Contest. I was digging through my Stampin Up stamps just for kicks and grins and came to this great set called clowning around. I loved it when I bought it, but think I've only used it once or twice. I still love it just as much now. It's bold and fun and screams...."color me"!

Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge - 3D
Okay, this project is for the Peachy Keen 3-D Challenge. The challenge is to make a 3-D project using Peachy Keen stamps (easy enough), but the kicker for me was to make a weather theme. Now I've been kicking around this project for about a week...I'm getting a head start on Easter. In our house we go through Crystal Light and Wylie's Sugar free juices like they're going out of style. I mean, seriously, we should own stock! And I have all of these left over containers and I never know what to do with them, but, of course, I save them, you know, just in case. So here is my recycled version of an easter basket/container for treats (or peeps)!
I used the Create a Critter for the chick, sun and clouds, Doodle Charms for the eggs, and Plantin Schoolbook for the grass. And of course I used the Cuttlebug for textures. Wish me luck, I want to win this one!

"Chair"ish Card
Challenge Me Monday - Fantabulous Cricut
I designed this card for Challenge Me Monday at Fantabulous Cricut web site. I'll post the link below. The challenge this week is to use ribbon in your work, which I didn't think I did much, but in looking back at some of my cards, I use ribbon more often than I thought. This web site gets me excited about the cricut every time I log on! I absolutely love these women!
So back to the card, I made it using the cartridge Stand and Salute. It is one of my faves. There really is so much versatility to it. I see something new everytime I look through the book.
Here's the web page if you want to check it out!

Sweatheart Round-up
This is my MOJO Monday entry. I went to the craft store this weekend (well, of course I went to the craft store) and found this amazingly adorable pink paisley paper! I had to do something with it, right? Sooooo, here it is! The paper is Heidi Grace Designs and the boot is from Just Because Cards Cricut cartridge and the HOWDY comes from an old stampin up set I have called Cowboy Kid.

Pretty in Pink
My Dad's wife has a line of clothing she sells called CABi. And it is fabulous! I have been designing thank you cards for her. As you can tell the theme is pink, black and white. I used the Forever Young cartridge that I specifically bought with this purpose in mind, but I have used it for so many other purposes. There are great shapes on this cartridge. If anyone is interested her web site is:http://cabicanary.com/

6 year bowling Birthday Pary Invite
Well, once again, not so great on posting pics. This was Britt's Birthday invitation. As you can tell, he had a bowling party. I just used the circle from Accent Essentials. And since we hand delivered them, I put them in a cellophane bag I got from Stampin-up, tied it up with a red bow and attached a little clip-art bowling pin with each child's name on it. Worked PERFECT!
My sister - wall decor
I made this for my sister. It's the front door to a cabinet. I found it at a wood store here in southern Oregon. The tree is from Everyday Paper Dolls. I love this cartridge. It is so versatile. The end result was good. I learned a bit along the way about Mod Podge and I'm working right now on a wall hanging that will be monsterous! 15 tiles by 3 tiles.
Cupcake card
My Girlfriend, Amiee has a cupcake business and makes out of this world cupcake in Portland. If you're interested here is her web site: http://sweetheartcupcakesshop.wordpress.com
Anyhow, I was inspired, and made this cute little card. Love the saying!
Chalkboard paint
Well, good monday morning. I have some new posts and pics and projects. This one is a dresser redo I did with chalkboard paint. When I started the project, I was thinking I could just sand and paint, but it turned into way more. I had to replace the drawer glides and that was over-the-top icky! But the end result is amazing and now I can write on the front of the drawers what actually goes in each drawer. Once again for the kids, and they never put away their own laundry!

Organize those kids!
One more post tonight! I saw this on Pinterest! This is my version in our home. Each kid has a place to write down activities for the week ie: birthday parties, sports, performances, whatever, then a cork board to hang any important papers, invitations, art work (right now report cards are hanging there). And underneath I had my husband very sturdily hang some hooks. One for the back pack and one for the coats. NOW, that being said, I am under no delusion that my children are actually going to hang up their own stuff, but it makes the clean up easier for me!
Happy Birthday
New Cards
Well, it was a busy weekend. I got the opportunity to craft with my good friend Jeannie, who owns every cricut cartridge under the sun and has the best ideas for projects and how to put it all together. She even has the new Cricut Imagine. Awesome!
And a trip to OIT to visit my most excellent son Kade who studying Electrical Engineering and kicking butt! So proud of him.
I have struggled with Valentine's projects and cards this year, but I found this cute card on a web site...so cute. And I put this second card together as a thank you for someone dear to me. Hope you like!

Love birds
I am trying to learn how to use the gypsy. I think I'm getting the hang of it. Last night I learned to weld and flip an image. YIPEE!
These are love birds that I am somehow going to work into a Valentine's card. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the heart is only 2.5 inches, so I'm hoping for a 3X3 card!
