Dollar Store Cupcake Holder stepped up a notch!
I'm doing the Craft Bazaar at Wilson Elementary this year in November, so I'm planning ahead and starting to make items for the event. I found these cupcake holders at the dollar store, add some vinyl, cut my trusty-rusty eclips AND BAM! its' awesome!
Night of the Notables
My daughter is in 6th grade and this year they planned a night of the notables. This is where the kids pick someone they want to read about and write about. They have to create a poster board fold out for their person of interest, then one evening all the kids dress as that person and gather in the gym in lines and the parents go around to any kid that interests them and ask them questions about their charactor. They also have to read the poem they wrote about their character. It was great fun.
My daughter did Audrey Hepburn, so we used the city scape to give the feel of New York and glamour. And her friend did Amelia Earhart, which was also pretty fun to create! Of course, used the eclips and svg files I found through GOOGLE!
Princess Fort Kits!
Here's the girl version of the Princess Fort kit. I did this in Superhero theme for boys, but needed one for girls. So much fun to give for gifts. I used my eclips to cut the vinyl and the paper for both the backpack and the cute little card.
GRADUATION PARTY!!!
My son finally is graduating college!!!!! Can't even begin to blog my happiness. I made the announcements in a free download program called INKSCAPE. I am really enjoying this program, so easy to get around in. I would love it if SCAL made a program for the PC! Anyhow, here's the finished product.
