Happy Birthday Kade!

Special Happy Birthday to my son, Kade.  He is 23 today.  The same age I was when I had him!  I am so proud of him, such a great son, brother and inspiration to us all!

Father's Day #2?

And here is the second design.  I used the tie from Designer's Calender (there is also the same tie on Paper Doll Dress up) and Birthday Bash cart for the rest.  I like all of these colors together, very manly!

Father's Day #1?

Okay, I made two designs for Father's Day cards.  This first one I used Plantin Schoolbook for the font and Paper Doll Dress-up for the shovel and I love the Miss Caroline line from My Mind's Eye paper!

Tea Cup for Teachers

Once again, I love this cartridge...Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2.  These tea cups are for our lovely teachers in appreciation for all of their hard work throughout the year!  And Cooking with Cricut is having a contest, so here we go!

Sweet Treat Boxes

I was very naughty last week and bought the Sweet Treat Boxes cart and the Flower Shoppe cart.  I did a tiny bit of experimenting with them.  I've seen this box done on several web sites, so I am by no means "creating" this one, but it was so fun and the uses are endless!

Graduation Word Play

Here is the third graduation card.  For this one I used the Stampin Up set Word Play and a border from the Stand and Salute cricut cartridge.

Graduation! Congratulations!

Well, I've been short on posts lately, mostly because I've had a lot of company lately, but also because we bought a boat and we've been having SOOOOO much fun with it.  But, I have been keeping up on my projects, just bad at posting.

This month I have two nephews and one neice graduating from high school, all three from different schools.  Here is two of the cards I did!

Stand and Salute

For both of these cards I used the Plantin Schoolbook and the Stand and Salute cartridges (which is great for the 4th of July and Memorial Day holidays).

I found this great paper from Authentique for fourth of July!  The colors are awesome.  And I have a brother-in-law that is deployed right now, so I made some cards for his wife to send to him.  Our prayers are with him and his family right now and I am continually impressed at the sacrifice and courage our troops and their families have.

Memorial Day Challenge

Fantabulous Cricut is having a Memorial Day Challenge, and here is my entry.  One day passed, but at least it's done!  I used the Stand and Salute cartridge and the Plantin Schoolbook.  I'm having so much fun with the Stand and Salute cart.  I'm going to post a couple more pics!

Mother's Day Challenge

This is my Mother's Day Challenge piece for the Fantabulous Cricut and Cooking with Cricut challenges.  But it's actually for my Mother-in-law!  She is pretty fabulous.  So I made her this bouquet.  On each of the flowers is a scripture reference.  I used the Forever Young cartridge for the flowers and the leaves and the Plantin Schoolbook for the circles.  Super easy project and I think she'll love it!

Happy Birthday Billie

It's my son-in-law's birthday on Mother's Day, so here's my card for him.  I used Plantin Schoolbook for the city skyline and the moon and holiday cakes for the car.  Very simple, but I love it.  It's hard to tell with this photo, but I used a silver shiny paper for the chrome part of the car.
