Girl Baby Shower - party and favors

One of my girlfriends here in Southern Oregon is having a baby girl!  I'm tickled pink (get it?) to be hosting this baby shower along with another girlfriend of mine.  I found this image on line from Flickriver.  This is the theme I want to use and come heck or high water I am going to make this cake!  But I'm going to use brown, green and pink.  The party favors I made up yesterday and should help me hold the theme of the shower.

Love these tubes and you can get them on several web-sites or go directly to SKS Bottle and Packaging, Inc.  They hava all sorts of fun containers and SUPER reasonable.

Baby Shower Invitation

This is the other idea I got from Pinterest for a baby shower card.  I have two baby showers that I'm either hosting or helping with.  My daughter is hosting one for a friend and she is having a boy.  So this cute little invitation we found on pinterest and I love the simplicity.
Obviously the names and dates have been changed to protect the innocent.  Anyone who knows me knows that I am beyond those childbearing years (thank you very much Jesus).  But look forward to many, many grandchildren!

Father's Day Frame

I found a couple of great ideas on Pinterest that I wanted to try out.  This first one is the "DAD" frame.  I made this for my husband to put on his wall at work.  It turned out better than I expected and I used the Font from Plantin School Book and Birthday Bash.

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge 117

Well, I'm playing around doing a whole lot of nothing for the day and it feels fabulous!  This is my card entry for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge this week.  The theme, as you may have guessed is: BBQ!  This one was hard to do because my cartridges are limited in this area.  But I did find a cut on the From My Kithchen cart.  And I used a brick folder with my cuttlebug!

Cooking with Cricut Challenge

Oh, how crazy this month has been.  As soon as the kids were out of school we were off and running and although I've been working on various projects with my cricut, I haven't done anything I can post.  But over at Cooking with Cricut they are having a summer water fun contest and I have the perfect entry.  For the end of the school year PTO carnival we had a Hawaiin theme and I did the school bulletin up all nice and pretty, so I'm going to post it!  This was so much fun to do and it was huge, something like 72" X 42"!  I used the Life is a Beach cartridge, on a LARGE scale.

I hope everyone else is having a great summer.  I would really like to see some summer days here in Oregon!

More patriotism!

Oh, how I love this paper!  It's from Authentique and I think the rustic patriotic look to it is so gorgeous.  I also found a cuttlebug folder today at Michaels with Stars!  It's sad that this is the most exciting thing that happened this week!
