Please be my Bridesmaid!

Alrighty, at the risk of offending someone, here goes!  I have a friend who's getting married and she asked me to make some vinyl for her so that she could ask her bridesmaids to support her in a very special way.  So, we found this idea on pinterest and I printed it up.  You could put this on a wine bottle, but she bought Fireball for her girls!  These girls know how to live it up!  Anyhow, they turned out pretty dang cool.

Angry birds T-Shirt for Ethan

Ok, this post is a T-Shirt I made for my grandson.  It's a little naughty, so he can't wear it to pre-school.  But I like it.  He is completely infatuated with angry birds!  I made it with my eclips, using SCAL!

CAbi Gift box

My step-mom sells CAbi and she gets these great little gift boxes once in a while and she was going to just throw them out! Can you believe that?!?   Well I wasn't having any of that!  I took those boxes and transformed them into a great gift box that she can give to her special hostesses. I used the Artiste Cartridge from Cricut.  I LOVE this cartridge.  There is so many great cuts on it.  And I added some bling to it, so now I can enter it in the Fabulous Cricut contest this week!  The best part is that I filled the little pouch inside with a perfume sample that I ordered on ebay.  I got ten little Lacoste Pink perfume samples for $4.99!  You can't beat that and it smells fabulous.  I've been sniffing myself all night!

Countdown to the Holidays Small Boards

I have posted these boards before in the large side.  But I had some of my friends that don't have the wall space ask for the smaller version.  So, I busted it out and designed the smaller boards.  Here they are in a 12 X 20 inch size:

Decorating above the cupboards in the kitchen

I found some old frames in the back of my closet and decided to change things up a bit above the cupboards in my kitchen.  I read on line that the rule was: if you don't have more then 2 feet between your cupboards and the ceiling that you're supposed to leave that space empty, but it didn't look right.  So I added a little something to add some color to my very drab kitchen.
I emptied the frames of their original pictures and on the wall I put some pears that I cut from the preserves cricut cartridge, then I put the frame over the top of it and put the word, "EAT" onto the glass frame and voila!  For the drink frame, it was the same process and I got the svg file for the bottles on a web site I found through a google search.
The frame above the fridge I got at the dollar store and cut the silverware with my Eclips machine.

Baby onsies using my Eclips

I made these little onsies for a baby shower for a friend.  I found the onsies with the pictures embroidered on them and then added my own special touch with the words, using my Eclips machine, some heat transfer vinyl and a True Type font.  Mommy to be was pleased.

Normal Family T Shirt

Okay, if you're having a hard time seeing this, it says"If you met my family, you would understand".  Since my teen girls won't wear anything I make (they're to COOL), then I decided to make one for one of their friends. It turned out pretty good, if you don't look too closely.  I accidentally got the vinyl on there a little crooked.  Crud I hate it when that happens!

Halloween T Shirt

Ok, this is my passion right now, T shirts and heat transfer vinyl.  LOVE IT!  I thought this would be fun for boy or girl, but my kids informed me that no respectable boy would be caught dead in it, so I had to make them for my friends girls, since I only have boys in my life!

Thanksgiving Countdown Board

And this is the final board for the holiday countdowns.  I love the turkey that I cut in chalkboard vinyl for the countdown.  It came from the cricut cartridge Doodlecharms.

Christmas Countdown Board

I'm finally finishing up my countdown to the holidays boards that I started 8 months ago.  Here is the Christmas board!  I'm so happy with it.  Most of the cuts I got from random websites.  It's going to be fun counting down to santa with this board.

Vegan Baby Outfit and Giftbag Set

I made this for a baby shower gift and then found out they are having a boy!  EEEEEK, but someone will have a girl soon, I just know it. I used the Create a Critter cart from Cricut.

Sister shirt

I made this T-shirt for my younger sissy.  I used to protect her when she was little and with the passing of my Father this year I wanted her to know that I will always be there for her.  But this would be great for a younger sibling as well!  My sister wears this kick-ass shirt to Yoga!  Hehehehehe.

Mustache's for the outlets!

How stinkin' cute are these?  I put them in the boys bathroom and bedroom!  I'm also selling them on Ebay if you want them, they are $3.00 for 30 of them or email me and I'll send them!

Family Rules Board

I've been trying to get some Christmas presents done this summer so that I can enjoy the season this year instead of being so frantic.  This is a Family Rules Board.  I love the way it turned out.  The fonts are True Type and I used my Sizzix Eclips machine.  The dimensions of this board are 12 inches X 18 inches.

2013 Graduation Card

Ok, on to what's been keeping me busy this year.  This first post is a graduation card I did using Cricut Craft Room and the Birthday Bash Font!  Very fun.
Well, I've been busy, just haven't posted for a long time.  But that seems to be the way I work.  My father passed away this summer and my thoughts and time have been occupied with family.  So this post is for him.  This was his Harley.  Love you Dad!

Mother's Day Card

Well, I'm entering a card in the Fantabulous Cricut challenge for the first time in a long time.  Mother's Day is Sunday and I am barely getting my cards done in time.  But, HEY, they are done!  No judgement.  I used the butterfly from the Artiste cricut cartridge.   So pretty.

Teacher Appreciation Week - Gift

This week is teacher appreciation and I wanted to do something meaningful, so I picked up some gift cards to Pappa Murphy's.  Because there is NO better gift then the night off from cooking!  I cut this apple on my Eclips and the jar came from the dollar store.  You could fill it with anything!

Halloween Countdown Board

Last one of the night.  So sad.  I'm on a role!  And feeling a little witty tonight, frisky.  Better go find my husband, HA!

The Cricut cartridges I used were:
October 31st (Lite cart, but there are so many fun cuts on this cart)
Everyday Pop up cards

Well, I hope you all (whoever reads these) enjoy these fun projects.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email me: tamilbarber@yahoo.com.

Back to School Countdown Board

Number 4:  Every Mother's favorite holiday.....wait for it....Back to School, which my husband says is not a holiday.  But I beg to differ!  Hello!  Primary colors, of course make this board so much fun.  I used both the  Cricut and Eclips for this one.  It came together so nicely, don't you think?

Cricut cartridges used:
Walk in My Garden was the only one for the inch worms

I'm really using the Eclips more than the cricut when I can.  The software is SOOOOOO much easier to design in then Cricut craft room, which is sad because I love my cricut so much.  Provo Craft needs to pull their head out.  They are missing a real opportunity here!  I digress, here's the pic:

Fourth of July Countdown Board

Third post of the night.  Here is my favorite, fourth of July.  I have such pride in our country and such a gratitude for our freedom.  Personal thanks go out to our men and women serving our country and for the families that love, support and miss their loved ones every day.

Cricut cartridges I used:
Stand and Salute (of course)

The star in this one is chalkboard vinyl (to keep track of days).  You're getting the hang of it now?

Summer Countdown Board

Okay, here is the second post of the night.  This is the summer board.  I had so much fun with this one because I am so excited for summer this year!  In the sun is a white circle that is DRY ERASE vinyl so you can write in your days til summer there.  I had to order that on line, from H&H, love them!

Once again I used the Cricut and the Eclips.

The cricut cartridges I used were:
Life is a Beach
Sweet Treats
Preserves

Easter Countdown Board

It's been so long since I've posted and I want you to know that I am always in the middle of a project, but I'm terrible at getting them posted.  So here goes.  I'm going to post 5 tonight.  I've been working on a series of "Countdown Boards".  Countdown to:  Easter, Summer, Fourth of July, Back to School, and Halloween are all completed and those are the ones I'll post tonight.  I'm working on Christmas and Thanksgiving.  And Valentines is already completed too, I just cant find the pic, so I'll post that one next time.

I'm going to really try not to go so long in between postings this time!

This first one I'm posting is Easter.  I used the Cricut and my Eclips machine to cut the vinyl for these and most of the vinyl is Oracal that I picked up right here at good ole JoAnn's!

The only Cricut cartridges I used in this one were:
Plantin Schoolbook

The rest are just SVG files I downloaded.

Wiley

I made this one for my Daddy for Christmas.  He has this precious little dog named Wiley that he is crazy about, so this is a daily reminder that he is loved!

Laundry Room phrase

I saw so many great phrases for the laundry room on-line, but fell in love with this one!

Craft room

Well, like I said, I have been very busy.  When I got my new machine I needed a place to put it because I'm not parting with my Cricut, so I decided to re-do my craft room.  Hours were spent here designing and organizing.

I made these to go on the walls of my new craft room.  I'm having fun in here.

Glass Christmas Ornament

I hope you can tell in these pics that this is a Christmas Ornament.  You make these by putting Mop and Glow in a glass ornament, swish it around, pour out the excess and dump in some glitter.  Pour out the excess and let it dry.  Quite easy!  I applied some vinyl that I cut with my new Eclips.  I made these for my sister for christmas.  She has a wonderful set of twins that keep her busy, busy!

Grandmother frame artwork

I can't believe it's been almost 2 months since I've posted last.  I've been very busy though!  The first of December I got a new cutting machine...the Sizzex Eclips!  It's been so much fun creating new stuff!  Now I can cut SVG files on vinyl, YIPEE!  This was my first project.  Rather ambitious I have to say, but it turned out pretty good.  It was a gift for my Mother for Christmas.
