Princess Fort Kits!

Here's the girl version of the Princess Fort kit.  I did this in Superhero theme for boys, but needed one for girls.  So  much fun to give for gifts.  I used my eclips to cut the vinyl and the paper for both the backpack and the cute little card.

GRADUATION PARTY!!!

My son finally is graduating college!!!!!  Can't even begin to blog my happiness.  I made the announcements in a free download program called INKSCAPE.  I am really enjoying this program, so easy to get around in.  I would love it if SCAL made a program for the PC!  Anyhow, here's the finished product.

Hexagon Birthday Card

I'm really liking the hexagon thing.  I once again used the Eclips. It's really easy to find SVG's on the internet.  I just google and find almost anything.

Soccer Birthday Card

Brought to you by:  THE SIZZIX ECLIPS!  Surprise!  Love the soccer theme, tis the season!

Father's Day Tie card

Jumping ahead of myself!  But it could be a Happy "man" birthday card.

Robot Card

I found this cool paper at Craft Warehouse on clearance for .10 a sheet and I finally found a way to use it.  I found this robot and gears svg for free on line and used my trusty Eclips to do the job! Add a little cuttlebug dot folder and there you go!  I love the way it turned out.

You'll see in my next couple of posts that I'm into Birthday cards right now.

Sisters Card

Not the best pic, I know.  I have 3 sisters, so I made a card for each of them and I had great fun making out the envelopes.  The ladies are from a font called Sewing Patterns 2.  I downloaded it from Dafont, which is my favorite free font web site.  I again, cut with the ECLIPS.

2013 Graduation Card

Ok, on to what's been keeping me busy this year.  This first post is a graduation card I did using Cricut Craft Room and the Birthday Bash Font!  Very fun.

Mother's Day Card

Well, I'm entering a card in the Fantabulous Cricut challenge for the first time in a long time.  Mother's Day is Sunday and I am barely getting my cards done in time.  But, HEY, they are done!  No judgement.  I used the butterfly from the Artiste cricut cartridge.   So pretty.

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #62 - Christmas card

Well, I'm barely getting this one in under the gun.  I made it for Freshly made sketches challenge #62.  Thanksgiving is over, I made a trip up to Salem and back in one day and sat down with a few minutes to myself tonight!  What a great week!

I made this nifty little card using my cricut, of course.  I am thinking about purchasing another cutting machine (I can't believe I'm admitting this on-line).  So if anyone has any input I'm looking at the Sillhouette Cameo or the Sizzix Eclips.  I'm stuck and could use help here!  Anyhow, back to this card, I used the Winter Frolic cart for the trees and the Designer's Calender for the number circle.

CWC #112 and SSSC172

This card I made for two challenges.  One is the Sweet Sunday Sketch #172, or SSSC172.  I love the sketch challenges!  The other is for Cooking with Cricut Challenge #112.  CWC's challenge is "I feel the LOVE" project card outreach and these cards go to children that are hospitalized during the holiday season in California.  Is that awesome or what?

I made this card using the Winter Frolic cart for the Snowman and Artiste for the tag.  I think any child would LOVE a snowman, right?

Baby Buggy

On October 11, 2012, I became a grandma again for the 3rd time!  Another baby boy!  Very exciting.  He came a month ahead of time, coinsidentally on the same day my third son was getting married, so the 10-11-12 date is especially special to us!  He is strong and healthy and that's all we need, however the babes needed clothes.  So I packed up a box of preemie clothes and sent it off to Arizona with this little card to go with it!

I cut the buggy from the Designer's Calender cartridge (which I love) and the Sweet One stamp is vintage stampin up called So Many Scallops.

Freshly Made Sketches challenge #60

Here's my entry for Freshly Made Sketches.  The idea is to keep it "clean lined and fresh".  It's so hard for me not to put tons of detail on my cards, but I think this one is scaled back a bit.

I learned to use my cricut craft room today....well at least a little bit.  I still have some questions, but that's another post!  I used preserves for the avacado.  The circle is from Artiste, I love that it is a real circle!

Case Study Challenge 115

I made this card for the challenge over at Case Study where the theme is rainbowish.  I thought it would be easy, but turned out to be much harder then I expected.  But here it is!

I cut the leaf from the Designer's Calender cricut cartridge.  Any thoughts?

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge

I'm entering this little darling in the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge SSSC171.  I'm really enjoying the Authentique paper lines this holiday season.  This one is the Festive line.  I saw a card on pinterest that sparked this design for me.  My biggest fear in life is birds, but I love how pretty they are, strange, right?

Anyhow, I cut the little birdie from the Winter Wonderland cricut cartridge along with the branch and used the cuttlebug to create the embossing on the background paper.

OCCC - Our creative corner challenge - Ice Skater

I saw this challenge over at Our Creative Corner and flipped out because I had just got finished with this card and it fit their challenge to a tee!  I guess great minds think alike after all.  Anyhow, I have had this image in my mind all day and wanted to work in this beautiful paper I found from Authentique collection:  Peaceful.  It is so gorgeous and is the inspiration for the theme of this years christmas decorating for me.

I found the silhouette on the Winter Wonderland cricut cartridge and the rest of the shapes on the card are from the new Artiste CTMH cart.  Hope you enjoy!

Haunted mansion

As you can tell, still having fun with the October 31st cartridge!  The card shape is from Birthday Bash.

Bag of bones card - Halloween

This was such a fun card to make.  I used the Over the Hill cartridge, drink wrap cut and RIP cut.  And for the bones I used the October 31st cartridge, which is a Lite cartridge with some awesome cuts for Halloween!  The paper I got from Michael's.  It's a 12 X 12 K&C Company book of spooky papers and every one of them is great!

Cooking with Cricut challenge #99

For the Cooking with Cricut challenge this week I made this entry for the back-to-school theme.  I cut the apple from the Plantin Schoolbook.  This is such a go-to cartridge for me.  So there you go, simple and to the point.

Cooking with Cricut challenge Halloween entry

Well, I was feeling crafty yesterday and put together another entry for Cooking with Cricut.  I'm starting to think ahead for Halloween.  Probably because I got the Over the Hill cart and I'm getting excited about it.  I found this card design on Lezlye's blogspot and fell in love with it!

I used the cat from the Paper Doll Dress up cart, the frame is from Gypsy Wanderings, the border is from Elegant Cakes and of course the cuttlebug.  I try not to use too many cartridges on my cards because it gets so time consuming, but I had nothing better to do yesterday!
