Canning salsa

This last week my sister-in-law was here and we had a day of canning.  We live very close to Harry and David and they had a peach sale.  Peaches were 10 cents a pound!  I don't know what possessed me to be different from the crowd (except that family did not eat the peaches I canned last year), but I decided to can salsa instead.

Our dear friends are on vacation for 3 weeks and our son is house sitting and he keeps bringing home all of these beautiful peppers and I had to do something with them.  So I made salsa for us and a couple for them for a nice little returning home present.  Mighty nice of me considering it was from their garden, don't you think?

I made the label for the salsa and the oven and mitt from the From my Kitchen cart and the label on the jar is from Preserves cart.  I hope they enjoy it as much as we have!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge 117

Well, I'm playing around doing a whole lot of nothing for the day and it feels fabulous!  This is my card entry for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge this week.  The theme, as you may have guessed is: BBQ!  This one was hard to do because my cartridges are limited in this area.  But I did find a cut on the From My Kithchen cart.  And I used a brick folder with my cuttlebug!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #105

This week's challenge on the Fantabulous Cricut blog is "Egg"cellent...somehow use an egg in your card layout. I found a rooster on the From My Kitchen cartridge and used the My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline paper to make this little unconventional easter card. I love the colors, peach, grey and pale yellow.

Little Lamb, or big lamb!

I don't know if I'm allowed to do this, but this is another entry for Fantabulous Cricut. I used the From my kitchen cartridge and the gorgeous paper is "Authentique". I made several projects with it.
