My Daddy is a Soldier Onesie

My sister and brother in law had twins this winter and their poor Daddy was sent to somewhere I can't mention.  So my OTHER sister in law was kind enough to have me make this cute little onsie for the little guy.  I didn't take a pic of the girl onsie.  To be honest, I didn't like that one as much!

How cute is this?

Super Hero Fort Kit

As usual this is something I found on Pinterest and used my Sizzix Eclips to create it.  The Super Hero shield is from the font called Hall of Fame and has so many great super hero symbols on it.  Then I customized everything for my 5 year old grandson, Ethan!  I wanted to send it too him for Easter, but of course, I couldn't stop myself from sending it early.

On pinterest I saw it made with a drawstring bag, but I found this great canvas backpack at Joan's for $4.99, then used my 40% off coupon to make it even cheaper (can't do that sort of math in my head anymore).  It will make it much easier for him to tote around.
I used vellum over the top of the lightening bolt so you could see through it.

Inside is a sheet, some rope, a flashlight, some glow sticks and some clamps.  All but the sheet you can find at the dollar store.  I also put in some candy, because that's what any good grandma would do, right?

Team Mike's Minions

My daughter is playing basketball for the first time this year and they asked me to design the team shirt.  Obviously, the team name is Mike's Minions.  Very simple design, but FUN!  I got the svg from: http://www.okieladybug.com/2013/07/for-love-of-minions.html.  THANK YOU SO MUCH.  Again, cut with the Eclips.  I can't say enough good things about this machine.  It's like part of my family.  I have the CRICUT, which I love, it's just limited and I have the Cameo Silhouette, which I hate!  Don't take my word though, it's probably just me, but the learning curve on the Cameo was quite difficult after the ease of using the ECLIPS.

Super hero baby shower present

Well, if you read the little lamb post, you see that the theme for the baby shower gift changed a little bit.  We went with Super Hero's!  I cut this using SVG files that I found on-line and cut them with my Eclips machine.  LOOK for the next post.  The wrapping (I think) turned out to be more fun than the gift itself.

Angry birds T-Shirt for Ethan

Ok, this post is a T-Shirt I made for my grandson.  It's a little naughty, so he can't wear it to pre-school.  But I like it.  He is completely infatuated with angry birds!  I made it with my eclips, using SCAL!

Baby onsies using my Eclips

I made these little onsies for a baby shower for a friend.  I found the onsies with the pictures embroidered on them and then added my own special touch with the words, using my Eclips machine, some heat transfer vinyl and a True Type font.  Mommy to be was pleased.

Normal Family T Shirt

Okay, if you're having a hard time seeing this, it says"If you met my family, you would understand".  Since my teen girls won't wear anything I make (they're to COOL), then I decided to make one for one of their friends. It turned out pretty good, if you don't look too closely.  I accidentally got the vinyl on there a little crooked.  Crud I hate it when that happens!

Halloween T Shirt

Ok, this is my passion right now, T shirts and heat transfer vinyl.  LOVE IT!  I thought this would be fun for boy or girl, but my kids informed me that no respectable boy would be caught dead in it, so I had to make them for my friends girls, since I only have boys in my life!

Vegan Baby Outfit and Giftbag Set

I made this for a baby shower gift and then found out they are having a boy!  EEEEEK, but someone will have a girl soon, I just know it. I used the Create a Critter cart from Cricut.

Sister shirt

I made this T-shirt for my younger sissy.  I used to protect her when she was little and with the passing of my Father this year I wanted her to know that I will always be there for her.  But this would be great for a younger sibling as well!  My sister wears this kick-ass shirt to Yoga!  Hehehehehe.
