Mojo Monday Challenge #234

Well, this is my card for the Mojo Monday Challenge. I had such a hard time with this design. Mostly just deciding what to put on it. But I settled on yet another Easter card. Easter is my fave! I used the Straight from the Nest cartridge for this gorgeous little nest! And the circle card came from Birthday Bash. Now I have to walk away from the craft room for the night...AHHHH!

Another attempt at Brooke's Birthday Card

Okay, I like this version a little bit better. I cut the cupcake from the Doodle Charms cartridge at 5.25 and it fits perfectly into the envelope I'm using. This second version just pops!

Mini Strawberry cards

Mini strawberry cards to go with my Strawberry Baskets! How stinkin cute are they and so fast to do! The card is from Birthday Bash cricut cartridge and the strawberry is from the Preserves cartridge, which has so many cuts on it that I love, but I don't use it as much as I should!

Birthday Invitation

Well, we are home from Portland and I have to say that there is nothing like getting away from home and stepping outside the house to get the creative juices flowing. I took my gypsy with me on my trip and decided to design a little. I still can't get everything the way I'd like on this card, for instance I tried to weld the SHADOW cupcakes from Doodle Charms together to make a "cupcake" card and that worked fine, but when I went to layer the second cupcake over it, it didn't fit right. These are the challenges I face with the gypsy. So I had to cut the scallop circle card from Birthday Bash and mount my cupcake over the top to make it a card. And I know I'm probably not making a whole lot of sense, but if you saw it in person you would understand.
My daughter is turning 10 and having a cupcake decorating party...HELLO, how much fun is this going to be! (to clean up, eek) But I love her to pieces and I hope she loves her birthday card.

New York - Spring Break Challenge

This is my entry for Our Creative Corner. The theme is Spring Break and I say GO BIG! Big Apple that is. I used the Tim Holtz Distress Ink, which, quite frankly, I'm just learning to use and could use some lessons on when and where to use it. For the city skyline I used the Plantin Schoolbook and the Paper Doll Dress Up. This is definately a different "look" for me.

Little Lamb, or big lamb!

I don't know if I'm allowed to do this, but this is another entry for Fantabulous Cricut. I used the From my kitchen cartridge and the gorgeous paper is "Authentique". I made several projects with it.

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge 104

Here's this week's entry in the Monday Challenge for Fantabulous Cricut. I love these milk cartons from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2. I used Gypsy Wanderings for the bunny and the grass is from my most used cartridge, Plantin Schoolbook. I am having so much fun making stuff for Easter, but seriously it is piling up. I'm going to have to start giving it to the neighbors!
The great thing about this project was that I got a chance to drag out my gypsy, which I am still leery about and I learned to use the center cut feature on my cricut! Who knew?
